These terms cover use of this website. Work we perform for you is governed by the quote and engagement documents you sign, which take precedence over anything here.
Using this site
This website is published by Torento Technology Solutions (ABN 75 188 766 077). You may read it, print it and share links to it. You may not copy its text, imagery or code for use elsewhere without our written permission.
Information on this site is general
Descriptions of our services are a summary, not a specification. Network, security and system design depends on the site, the equipment and the constraints, so nothing on this page should be relied on as advice for your particular situation.
Anything we publish here may change without notice. We make no promise that the site will be available without interruption or free of error.
Quotes and engagement
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Work begins only when we issue a written quote and you accept it in writing.
The quote defines scope, price, assumptions and exclusions. Where a quote and these terms disagree, the quote wins.
Enquiries you send us
Send only information you are entitled to share. Do not send credentials, passwords or access keys through the enquiry form — if we need those during an engagement we will arrange a secure channel.
We treat enquiry content as confidential and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party products and links
We install and configure hardware and software supplied by others. Those products carry their own warranties, licences and terms, which sit between you and that vendor. Links to external sites are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement of their content.
Liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Beyond those guarantees, and to the extent the law allows, our liability arising from your use of this website is limited to resupplying the affected information or the cost of doing so. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost data, arising from use of this site.
Intellectual property
The Torento name, the honeycomb mark and the content of this site are our property. Design documentation we produce for you becomes yours on full payment, except for our underlying methods, templates and tooling, which remain ours.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of South Australia, and both parties submit to the courts of that state.
